na nama-sadrsham jnanam
na nama-sadrsham vratam
na nama-sadrsham dhyanam
na nama-sadrsham phalam
There is no knowledge equal to my Nama. No vow is equal to My Nama. No
meditation is like Nama. No result is like Nama.

na nama-sadrsha tyagi
na nama-sadrshah shamah
na nama-sadrsham punyam
na nama-sadrshih gatih
No renunciation is like my Nama. No peace like my Nama.No piety is like
my Nama.No goal of life is like my Nama.

namaiva parama muktir
namaiva parama gatih
namaiva parama santir
namaiva parama sthitih
My Nama is the supreme liberation. My Nama is the Supreme goal. My Nama
the topmost place. My Nama is the Supreme abode.

namaiva parama bhaktir
namaiva parama gatih
namaiva parama pritir
namaiva parama smrtih
My Nama is the Supreme devotion. My Nama is the Supreme thought. My Nama
is Supreme happiness.
My Nama is Supreme meditation.

namaiva karanam jantor
namaiva parama prabhur eva ca
namaiva paramaradhyo
namaiva paramo guruh
My Nama is the life of all living entities. My Nama is the Supreme Lord
and master. My Nama is supreme object of worship. My Nama is the supreme guru.
This is an interesting perspective to see the Nama Prabhu the way Krishna
Himself thinks of His Nama Prabhu is the Supreme Lord and Master.

nama-yuktan janan drstva snigdho bhavati yo narah
sa yati paramam sthanam vishnuna saha modate
Lord Krishna further explains: "A person who feels happy when he
sees others chant My holy name goes to the supreme abode and enjoys with Lord
Vishnu.

tasman namani kaunteya
bhajasva drdha-manasah
nama-yuktah priyo 'smakam
nama-yukto bhavarjuna
"For these reasons, O Arjuna, you should worship My holy names.
Chant My holy names and become friends with they who chant My names."
In
Vishnu Dharma Purana quoted again in Hari Bhaktivilas (447-448) the Lord
specifically talks about the result of chanting and hearing His Names is that
He is purchased.

gatva ca mama namani rudanti mama sannidhau
tesham aham parikrito nanya-krito janardanah
"He purchases Me who calls out My name. There is no other price to
purchase Me."
Text 448
evam srutva ca mama namani. ity-adi.
The Lord also says: "He purchases me who hears My names."
